It’s a jungle out there — or, rather, the fifth floor of Bergdorf Goodman.

The retailer hosted a cocktail on Tuesday night among its contemporary offerings to toast Kenzo x The Jungle book, the new capsule the Parisian house did ahead of the Disney film’s release. “The word ‘jungle’ and the jungle spirit is very much a part of Kenzo’s history,” Carol Lim said, at the center of the swirl of well-wishers, sipping fruity drinks and mango-tinged bites. “This spirit of exploration is really part of the house’s codes. So when Disney approached us we were like this is a perfect marriage.” The collection is available exclusively at the retailer and on kenzo.com
