Talk about spreading the love. At the Chanel-hosted book party in Los Angeles for Drew Barrymore’s “Find It in Everything,” each guest at the seated dinner received a copy of the heart-themed tome. “I’ve been taking photographs of hearts I’ve seen in nature and abstract, hearts that are there for a moment that, if I didn’t catch them, would be gone in a second, and I did it over 15 years,” Barrymore said before Tuesday’s dinner. “The idea of publishing them seemed crazy because I’d been doing it for so long.”
Barrymore also decided to get her massive Twitter following involved, holding a contest dubbed #finditineverything. “There’s already 7,000 people who have submitted pictures in just a couple of days, and that’s what this should be — a way to live life and express yourself and catch things and sharpen your focus,” she said.

Chelsea Handler described the book as “exactly what you’d think it would be. It’s so [Drew]. She’s flowery and full of sunshine. Sunny-side up all the time.” Reese Witherspoon called Barrymore, whom she’s known since she was 14, “infinitely endearing. She’s so creative and inspiring. You go to her house and there’s pictures all over the walls.”
Other friends who came to Chanel’s Robertson Boulevard boutique to support the expecting actress included Busy Philipps, Molly Shannon, Fuschia Kate Sumner, Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Gillian Jacobs.
“We’ll have to go on a double date,” Shannon told Barrymore’s husband, Will Kopelman. But it’ll likely be after their second baby arrives. “At about seven months I battened down the hatches last time, so it’ll probably be around there,” said Barrymore of her plans to start lying low.
