Fashion week show goers were given an air-conditioned break from the stifling heat and humidity Saturday as Charlotte Tilbury unveiled the virtual reality campaign that aligns with her new fragrance, Scent of a Dream.

Inside Samsung 837, the brand’s Meatpacking District space, revelers such as Olivia Palermo, Joe Zee and several Victoria’s Secret Angels were treated to a welcome blast of frigid — if not heavily-scented — air, as attendants patrolled the party’s upper level, Scent of a Dream in hand, making sure no corner went un-spritzed.

Downstairs on the VIP level, a two-story-sized projection screen was mounted on the wall, and guests began to fill up the stadium-style seating to view Tilbury’s campaign, which utilized Samsung Gear powered by Oculus and costars Kate Moss.

Tilbury is a favorite among the model set.

“We’ve been working backstage together for years, she’s been there for me since the day my career started,” said Josephine Skriver, a Victoria’s Secret Angel. “She’s my favorite energy. Finally someone made a makeup line that is supereasy for someone like me to do on my own.” And what exactly has Tilbury, a veteran makeup artist, taught Skriver? “She introduced me to the highlight and the glow. I just never did that before.”

Sara Sampaio, another Victoria’s Secret Angel, was also on-hand to show support for Tilbury. “I love it,” said Sampaio of Scent of a Dream. “I got my bottle a few days ago and I sprayed it and I was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s like Charlotte is here with me.’ It smells like her.”

Sampaio said she was not put off by the room’s scented ambience, and is herself an avid fragrance-wearer. “I have a few that I rotate,” the model told WWD. “I love [Giorgio Armani] Acqua di Gioia, Chance by Chanel, the Ralph Lauren — the blue one, I don’t remember the name.”
