Unlike the front rows of certain shows, Prada doesn’t need to pull strings (or dole out cash) to entice bold-facers to its regular fashion week bash at the SoHo store. Tuesday night’s party, which featured a premiere of the animated short film “Trembled Blossoms” and a performance by band CocoRosie, felt more like an industry do than a paparazzi-filled celeb fest — and the better for it. Sure there was Ginnifer Goodwin in one corner, rumors that Fergie was coming (she never showed) and the omnipresent Eliza Dushku making the rounds in a bright red frock. But most of the revelers — a veritable runway-full of models such as Jessica Stam, Sasha Pivovarova, Heather Marks, Anouck Lepère and Lily Donaldson, along with Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Riley Keough, Vincent Gallo, Rufus Sewell and Chace Crawford of “Gossip Girl” — were just happy to hang out and drink up.
“I’ve actually never been in this store before,” said Angela Lindvall, taking in the surroundings. “I live in Los Angeles, so the last thing I do when I come to New York is go shopping.”

Meanwhile, Rose McGowan, who has certainly been making the rounds this week (see “The Ubiquitors”), divulged her get-ready secret. “I put spackle on my face,” she said. “I was up until 4 a.m. watching a ‘Golden Girls’ marathon.”
Dylan McDermott stopped by briefly before skipping out to a 10 p.m. dinner at the Gramercy Hotel, though it wasn’t his first such appearance this week — he was at Proenza Schouler the night before and said he’s now practically a fashion week pro. He’s not so taken with the models, however. “The girls are so young and they have a deadened quality to them,” he said of the ones he’s seen thus far.
Uptown, Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn was hosting a much more intimate affair at her Upper East Side home-slash-gallery to celebrate Amanda Goldberg and Ruthanna Hopper’s book, “Celebutante.” “Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen, a bit of a celebutante herself, arrived with her mom in tow, but left well before midnight. After all, she had to get up for classes the next morning at the Professional Performing Arts School. The rest of the crowd, which included co-hosts Tamara Mellon and Jimmy Choo chief Josh Schulman, Christian Slater, Steven Cojocaru and Kimberly Guilfoyle, stayed to watch the primary election returns and enjoy a casual buffet upstairs.
Down in Chelsea, Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy were similarly low-key: They gathered a bunch of their friends for drinks and a bite at a cozy upstairs loft space at the Matthew Marks gallery. Of course, their friends include people like Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon, who was acting as hostess for the evening.
While one guest’s dog wandered around, die-hard Rodarte fans came to pay their respects. Take Lisa Airan, who had made some scheduling changes in order to be there. “My husband is heli-skiing in British Columbia,” she said. “Normally I go with him, but fashion week came early this year.”
Meanwhile, Gordon is prepping for a 10-day tour in Australia. As for the Mulleavys, they’ll be throwing another party soon: On Monday, it’s Kate’s birthday.
