“The balloon crew have been here since 10 a.m.!” said Mulberry creative director Emma Hill as she surveyed her amusement park-themed after-party at Claridge’s. She guided guests to the tattoo stand and gave them a chance to win a Mulberry bag on the Hook-a-Duck stall.

The young crowd – including Alexa Chung, Tamsin Egerton, Leigh Lezark, Ben Grimes, Tolula Adeyemi, Pixie Geldof, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Daisy Lowe and Amber Le Bon – took turns at the funfair stalls and posed on the bespoke merry-go-round horses.

Chanel Iman said she was in London to support Jeremy Scott and to do research for her new fashion blog, which is set to launch soon. “I’m going to be mean if I have to, but mostly I’m going to be honest,” she said.
