MAKING SCENTS: Maybe it was inevitable. After four straight days of men’s shows, it was time to talk about women’s fashion. “You know whose collection is amazing? Agyness Deyn’s,” said the actor Christian Cooke, a front-row fixture during the four-day long London Collections: Men.
Cooke, who starred opposite the former model in “Electricity” last year said he’s been following Deyn’s Instagram feed, which features images of her Title A collection. He was among the guests at London’s Chiltern Firehouse on Monday night to mark the launch of Tom Ford’s latest men’s fragrance, Noir Extreme.
“I thought, ‘If I was a girl, I’d totally wear that,’” he said. “Not only is she a sublime actress, she’s a great designer, and people in the fashion industry should see there’s more to her than her modeling career.”
Fellow guests included Kate Moss, Douglas Booth, Patrick Grant, Katie Eary, David Gandy and his girlfriend Mollie King of The Saturdays, Alexa Chung, Portia Freeman, Lily Allen, Graham Norton and Paloma Faith.
