The deliciously quirky duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren made a rare visit to New York on Wednesday for an intimate party celebrating the fifth anniversary of their Flowerbomb fragrance. It was held in a private townhome in the West Village that looked like it had, in fact, been bombed by a giddy florist with a penchant for pink.

While waiters passed around delicate macaroons, mousse and petit fours, the small group of fashion-forward aficianados including including Liz Goldwyn, Lisa Airan, Shalom Harlow and Erin Wasson gathered in the courtyard for a four song set from Allison Goldfrapp. The singer seemed to be heavily influenced by Lady Gaga in her larger-than-life Elizabethean costume and stiff dance movements; then she turned more Marilyn Monroe as she crooned “Happy birthday” to the perfume. Bet Gaga’s never done that. Then again, maybe she has.

(For those who missed the party and need their Viktor + Rolf fix, hit Saks on Fashion’s Night Out where the duo is scheduled to meet and greet fans while laying in bed.)
