The fashion flock came out in full force on Monday night, when Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld teamed up with the RVCA artist network to present the work of up-and-coming French artist Nicolas Pol at a converted Essex Street warehouse on the Lower East Side. Jean Paul Gaultier, Mary-Kate Olsen, Kelly Klein, Olympia Scarry, Erin Wasson and Daphne Guinness were among those who came out for the evening, which included a dinner at Indochine immediately following the opening.
“[Indochine] is my favorite restaurant in New York City,” said Restoin Roitfeld, who routinely throws parties at the eatery. “I love the food, I love the lighting, I love the atmosphere.”

Restoin Roitfeld seemed similarly content with his career — which seems to involve lots of art openings and lots of parties at Indochine — insisting he had no plans to open a gallery any time soon. “I just want to keep going on like this,” he said.
Across the street, an eclectic group of hipsters as well as Mark Ronson and rapper Wale caught Daniel Merriweather’s show at Joe’s Pub.
