With the months-long awards season nearing its end, Hollywood loosened its tie a bit Friday night at Women in Film’s Annual Pre-Oscar party, a relaxed affair at Fig & Olive on Melrose Place. “It feels very familylike,” said John Demsey of MAC Cosmetics, which sponsored the fete along with Max Mara and Perrier-Jouët.

“Now that I’m a lady of leisure, I get to go to more of these things,” said Kate Walsh, whose show “Private Practice” is winding down, while her Boyfriend fragrance push is ramping up. Of course, a party is always a good place to seal one’s next deal, as Paz Vega knows. “I have four films coming out this year,” she said, noting the upcoming Princess Grace biopic, in which she plays Maria Callas. “I had to really sing over her voice so that it looked real.”
