NEW YORK — For the seventh year of “An Enduring Vision,” the annual benefit for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the artist has drummed up quite a fashionable list of event chairs.
They include Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Isaac Mizrahi, Vera Wang, Evelyn and Leonard Lauder and John Demsey. John and David Furnish are honorary chairs of the benefit, which will take place at Cipriani Wall Street on Nov. 11.

This year, the event’s special honorees are comedian and actor Tim Allen; Bill and Tani Austin, founders of the Starkey Hearing Foundation, and Johnny and Edwina Barbis, board members of John’s foundation.
Anderson Cooper will be the emcee for the night, which will feature special performances by John and Gladys Knight, and a live auction with Jamie Niven, vice chairman of Sotheby’s North and South America.
The event hopes to raise $3 million for John’s foundation.
