Donna Karan has had one red-carpet moment after the next lately, with Milla Jovovich donning her dotted dress for the Legends Gala, where Karan accepted the “Liz Tilberis Humanitarian Award” for her contributions to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund; Liv Tyler choosing another for the New York premiere of “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers,” and Sandra Bullock working an ivory coat-sparkling dress combo for the debut of “Two Weeks Notice.”
“Hollywood glamour was the theme of the spring collection,” Karan says. “These women are bringing my clothes to life.” Of course there’s another special dress and walk down the aisle that has been occupying the designer’s mind lately. Her daughter, Gabby, was married Saturday during a ceremony on Parrot Cay.
