Caribbean Queens

Getting carried away by “Pirates.”

At the Disneyland premiere of “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” on Saturday, Brit It Girl Keira Knightley pushed summer fashion to the limit, pairing a skimpy white Valentino top, which echoed her gauzy, waist-baring costumes in the film, with extra low-riding Miss Sixty jeans. “I decided to expose flesh,” she said breezily. “I thought, why not?” Why not, indeed.

Others opted for more literal translations of the pirate theme. Kelly Lynch wrapped a bandanna around her head like a seafarer of old, while Daryl Hannah went overboard, slipping into an ensemble that ranks among the biggest shipwrecks in recent history with an eye patch, boots and loads of lace. Thar’ she blows!
