COLOR ME BEAUTIFUL: It was a fashion blackout at the National Arts Awards at Cipriani 42nd Street on Wednesday as the chic ladies turned out for the Americans for the Arts’ event wearing different versions of the little black dress — among them chairman Veronica Hearst, Anne Hathaway, Mena Suvari, Shoshanna Gruss, Emilia Fanjul and her daughter, Emilia Fanjul Pfeifler.

Perhaps that’s why committee member Angele Blankenstein shone. Dressed in Zac Posen’s wispy multicolored caftan dress from his 2004 resort collection, she graced the benefit (which included a large-screen so guests could watch the final presidential debate) looking every inch the quintessential social butterfly.
