At the London premiere of “Die Another Day” Monday night at the Royal Albert Hall, Madonna, the reigning queen of pop, met the Queen of England for the first time. Neither seemed especially shaken or stirred. “I was surprised I wasn’t more nervous,” said Madonna, who wore a Badgley Mischka dress for the occasion. “She asked me about my songs.”
Meanwhile, Halle Berry upheld another long-standing British tradition, playing a Bond bombshell. “The legacy of being a Bond girl is about being really sexy,” she explained. “Say what you want about Bond girls — and people do — but they have a big allure and a lot of people come to see them.”
