Eva Longoria Parker is still basking in her honeymoon period. Taking frothy fashion to extremes, the actress opted for a white Atelier Versace gown for the Cannes opening of “Kung Fu Panda,” Thursday night, that fanned into a tulle skirt and train worthy of a bride. Aishwarya Rai, in Armani, and Rashida Brakni, in a floral silk Roberto Cavalli gown, played good bridesmaids for part of the way up the steps, but Longoria had to sweep up her train to manage the final few. The film’s star, Jack Black, and a giant panda gave a bearded Brad Pitt some competition, escorting a radiant, and very-expectant Angelina Jolie, the voice of Master Tigress in the film. The actress, who looks like she’s going to give birth to her twins at any moment, wore a green gown designed exclusively for her (it would have to be given her condition) by Max Azria Atelier, accessorized with vintage yellow gold and diamond Bulgari earrings and bracelets. Jolie’s co-star, Lucy Liu, the voice of Master Viper in the movie, wore a pretty-in-pink, Fifties-style Cavalli gown, embroidered with mother-of-pearl flowers.
Meanwhile, Devon Aoki, walking the red carpet, revealed she is getting more serious about fashion. The model, who has done a denim line in Asia in the past, plans to launch a full fashion collection with her brother and two young L.A.-based designers later this year.
