Gianni Versace is all over the British press. It began last week when British actress Elizabeth Hurley wore a couture Versace gown to the British premiere of her boyfriend Hugh Grant’s film “Four Weddings and a Funeral.” Hurley, in the low-cut, slit gown held together with safety pins, has since gotten more press than the movie, with stories in the tabloids every day about what’s come to be known as The Dress. The Daily Express and The Sun have even begun contests for women to win knockoff versions.
