KNOW WHEN TO FOLD `EM: Among the throngs of dealers at the Basel art fair, Jil Sander, fashion’s favorite ousted artiste, made her rounds, stopping to browse the Gagosian booth. But it was her appearance at another Basel spot — the Jil Sander boutique — that got the art crowd talking. Ever the micromanager, Sander was spotted refolding a messy stack of sweaters.
COPY KATE: Looks like all that chatter about Kate Moss setting a pregnancy trend wasn’t idle after all. At the AFI Achievement Awards honoring Tom Hanks, Angie Harmon confessed to an urge to mimic the model. “Now that she’s doing it, I feel that I must!” gushed Harmon, who said she has also developed a Kate-like fascination for vintage clothing. “She is like two years ahead of everybody, like four or five seasons. She’s such an original.”
