Destination: Aspen, Colo. “The Little Nell on Christmas Eve and then with our friends who have a beautiful home in Woody Creek.”

Looking forward to: “Being at the top of Ajax mountain, looking at the breathtaking scenery and breathing the cool mountain air.”

Luggage of choice: “I have a whole set of Louis Vuitton, but all I use is LeSportsac because it’s so light, and I can just stuff it beyond belief.”

Destination: Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic
Fashion staples: Shoshanna and Abaeté bikinis, cover-ups & sundresses by Tibi and Winter & Miggs and Zooey T-shirts that are sexy and lightweight, perfect for day and evening. For night she goes with white jeans and a pretty top or a more flirty dress like a silky Miguelina with a lightweight cashmere sweater.
Reading material: “Waugh’s ‘Brideshead Revisited,’ since it’s what I’m supposed to be reading for my book club, but I also want to read the new Tom Wolfe book.”
Activities: “Work out at the gym, go to the beach, swim with my family and my brother’s kids, have a long lunch, quick nap, and some sort of activity — horseback riding or a golf lesson and then hopefully a massage to finish off the hard day!”
Favorite spots: “I love to eat at home, but also the marina at Casa de Campo has a great sushi place. Up on the hill in Altos de Chavon they have great Italian places. For drinks, the Marina is packed. You feel like you are in Capri.”
Favorite carry-ons: “My dog Pontoufle in hand and T. Anthony luggage that my mother has been buying me for years.”
Destination: Careyes, Mexico. “We are staying in a house so that we can bring friends and family along to fill up all of the rooms, and flying private, so we can completely relax.”
Fashion staples: “I am bringing lots of Bokhee — long Indian skirts that I wear as strapless dresses. They are perfect for sexy cover-ups or a dinner dress. Also, I just found a vintage Pucci, ankle-length pleated skirt. OndadeMar bikinis, Missoni one-pieces, cowboy hats from Shady Brady to block the sun, Rocawear Jackie O sunglasses, tons of against evil eye bracelets, anklets and belly chains, and the best: shell necklaces (my daughter and I collect shells — we are obsessed).”
Reading material: Two David Sedaris books, “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks and its sequel, and “Sister of My Heart” by Chitra Divakaruni.
Activities: “I can’t wait to just sit and read in the sun with a drink. Picking shells with my daughter on the beach then having the chef cook dinners and invite friends over. After dinner we go to the beach to lie and watch the stars with everyone.”
Luggage of choice: “I use Louis Vuitton carry-ons and huge Tumi trunk pieces with pulleys.”
Destination: Northern California. “On Christmas Eve we go to Peter’s parents’ house in San Francisco for lunch, then to Napa for Christmas.”
Lodging: The Coppola winery.
Fashion staples: “Ugg boots (I’m kidding). I’m going to wear a great caftan with Manolo Blahnik evening leopard shoes and antique earrings.”
Reading material: “The Good Apprentice” by Iris Murdoch.
Activities: “Wrapping presents, watching movies and riding go-carts and minibikes.”
Looking forward to: Watching everyone open their presents.
Favorite spots: The Coppola dining room table and Tosca Cafe in San Francisco.

Destination: One & Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico.
Fashion staples: “Mostly Michael Kors shirtdresses. I have a Tuleh caftan for the pool, a bright Hermès Birkin for holding everything in the day and a Lambertson Truex croc clutch in lime green for evening. I’m a big fan of pareos and flip-flops from Capri and gold Manolo [Blahnik] flip-flops with a little heel go with everything. My husband and son have matching Vilebrequin bathing suits. They are matching dandies.”
Reading material: “Hello!, Us Weekly, In Touch, People and other serious magazines. I will be the expert on the Olsen twins when I return.”
Activities: “Eating a cooked breakfast, getting massages, lying by the pool, people-watching, reading and playing with my three-month-old son. He loves hot places.”
Luggage of choice: “T. Anthony is the official Gubelmann/Raein family luggage.”
Destination: The Alvear Palace Hotel in Buenos Aires, and Casapueblo in Punta del Este for New Year’s.
Fashion staples: Eres and Pucci bathing suits, white embroidered kurtas, gaucho pants and T-shirts.
Reading material: “De Kooning” by Mark Stevens and Annalyn Swan.
Activities: “Antiquing in San Telmo, tango shows, the opera.”
Favorite restaurant: El Danzon in Buenos Aires, which serves French/Argentinian cuisine. “We’re actually hosting a dinner there for friends and family.”
Favorite drinks: Caipiriñas and “great red Argentinian wines.”
