While New York was glazed with snow last weekend, in Los Angeles the heat wave brought out bikini-clad beach bunnies by day and miniskirt-wearing lovelies by night. Monday night at Cachet, Audrey Bernstein and Apple Via’s weekly gathering at Les Deux Cafés, the crowd kept cool by shedding their sweaters and hanging out in the balmy courtyard. “I was just in New York and I have to say, I am glad to be home!” said local designer Yohanna Logan.
“Who knew?” Via added, tugging at her blazer. “Now I feel a bit overdressed.” As guests passed by in floaty tops and denim minis, ’NSync’s J.C. Chasez enjoyed the summer effect from his corner table. “I’m not complaining about the view,” he said.
