Cate Blanchett kept the glamour quotient going in Cannes by donning a kimono-inspired Alexander McQueen gown and Chopard jewels for Tuesday night’s “Babel” premiere, perhaps in homage to the film’s Japanese story line. But Blanchett, a loyal McQueen fan, also wore one of the designer’s dresses — a Provençal print frock — for the photo call earlier in the day. It was a quick trip to the south of France for the actress, who had to jet back home to London, while Chloë Sevigny, Jena Malone, Elodie Bouchez, Beatrice Borromeo, Ziyi Zhang and Chiara Mastroianni partied the night away at the Nikki Beach club on the sand.
