Once more, fashion week wouldn’t be complete without an abundance of after parties to keep industry heavies and hangers-on alike on their feet from dawn, till well, dawn. Sunday night, Diane von Furstenberg is having her usual get-together at her studio in the Village, while a couple of blocks away, Milla Jovovich is again opening the doors of her town house for pals. Monday night is, of course, the Marc Jacobs party at the new hot spot, the Gramercy Park Hotel. The following evening, Narciso Rodriguez gathers his nearest and dearest at Asia de Cuba, and downtown the Marchesa girls, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, are doing cocktails at The Double Seven. Meanwhile, Another Magazine and David Yurman are throwing a party at Milk Studios, where Kirsten Dunst is expected to make an appearance. Wednesday night, Hilary Swank is hosting a screening of “The Black Dahlia” with The Cinema Society at the Tribeca Grand; Vivienne Westwood is showing “Incident at Oglala” as part of the Grand Classics series at Soho House, and the Trovata boys are keying it up at Marquee. The folks at Calvin Klein are feting Francisco Costa at 7 World Trade on Thursday and Amy Sacco is hosting a party for Zac Posen at the Soho Grand’s “disco” dome. And then, at long last, the week draws to a close when Edun (the line by Bono, his wife, Ali Hewson, and Rogan Gregory) helps launch the ONE campaign at the Hudson Hotel and the art crowd heads to the Marianne Boesky gallery in Chelsea on Friday night. Sleep while you can. There will be no nodding off in the front rows.
