The Rich’s/UNICEF “Serious Fun” benefit fashion show and luncheon truly began with a bang when the 101-piece North Fulton High School Marching Band opened the proceedings. And things didn’t let up after that, as the festivities continued with children singing, a charity auction and much celebrating of spring. In all, $32,000 was raised for UNICEF.
This year, the annual “women-only” luncheon and show featured Adrienne Vittadini as guest designer. She showed her spring collection on the runway with looks ranging from crisp blue and white stripe outfits to natural wrap skirts and long ethnic print tank dresses. Lesley Harris, a public relations executive, particularly liked a white linen pantsuit. “It’s something you could wear even if your not built like a stick model,” she pointed out.
