Finally: some Tom Hiddleston news that doesn’t involve Taylor Swift. The English actor made his debut on Instagram Tuesday, and has amassed more than 300k followers during his first day on the social platform.

The stakes were high for his first post, and the actor delivered — although not by sharing a ‘gram from his personal life. Hiddleston instead chose to focus on his career, posting an in-character selfie from the “Thor: Ragnarok” film set in Australia. The actor is reprising his role as Thor villain Loki in the upcoming Marvel Studios sequel. As of press time, his post has garnered over 10k comments — with an overwhelmingly admiring tone — and 63.2k likes.

Before “Thor: Ragnarok” hits screens, Hiddleston will next appear in the action flick “Kong: Skull Island” alongside Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson in early 2017. In past months, the actor has also been rumored as a front-runner for the next James Bond. Unfortunately for Hiddleston’s new followers hoping for a behind-the-scenes glance of 007, more recent reports circulating claim that he is no longer being considered for the role.

And since inquiring minds are sure to wonder, who is Hiddleston following on Instagram?

No one, yet.

He's back!
