For the “something borrowed” aspect of her recent wedding to Wil Harris in San Francisco, Cecilia de Quesada wore an elegant antique French tiara of pearls and diamonds, borrowed from Tatiana Sorokko.

“I’ve always thought of Cecilia as a little princess, so a tiara is perfect on her,” said Sorokko, who dazzled friends in her full-length Ralph Rucci gown of taupe and black and white guinea fowl feathers. Urannia Ristow, the bride’s mother, found Cecilia’s glamorous lace-trimmed veil in Barcelona last summer.

Maria Manetti Farrow, in from St. Bart’s, swapped travel tales with OJ Shansby, who spent New Year’s in Hawaii. “It was a holiday from hell. It rained for days. We finally escaped on a freighter,” laughed Shansby.

Also dancing the light fantastic in San Francisco’s new Asian Art Museum were Alexis Swanson, Dorka Keehn, Shannon Bavarro, Lee Hudson, Sally Debenham, Seth Matarasso and Claudia Rogers.
