Much like her quick-thinking, fearless TV executive alter ego on her new show “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” Amanda Peet refused to let the rain deter her parade when she wed her screenwriter beau, David Benioff, on Saturday. Wearing a custom-made ivory tulle, Empire gown with a Chantilly lace bustier and black grosgrain ribbon tie by Oscar de la Renta (who recently launched a bridal line), the pregnant indie movie star said her vows at Friends Seminary in downtown Manhattan. And though she donned de la Renta’s classic princess-worthy ivory tulle cathedral-length veil once inside, Peet was true to her hip-quotient roots when dodging the rain. The coat covering her gown? Vintage, of course.
