Calvin Klein Legwear will launch a line of control tights and leggings this fall called Ultra Fit, the first time the brand will feature footless styles in a legwear collection.

The opaque tights and leggings of soft 80-denier microfiber jersey will have ribbed control-top styling, a discreet knit-in logo, flat seams and a wide waistband for comfort that lays flat against the body.

Distribution is aimed at better department and specialty stores, including 168 Macy’s doors, 25 Lord & Taylor units and five Bloomingdale’s doors. The line will be merchandised within the legwear and sock departments.

“The new silhouettes from our Ultra Fit program have a modern fit that helps smooth the natural curves of the body for a sleek and clean line that is well suited to today’s body-conscious ready-to-wear,” said Kevin Carrigan, global creative director for ck Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein. “It provides full coverage with light control through engineered rib paneling that supports and lifts. The luxurious soft microfiber yarns make for a true comfort shaper.”

Ultra Fit will feature three styles, ranging from light to full coverage: a shaper tight, a shaper legging and a high-waist shaper tight. Sizes will be A, B, C and D. Colors will include black, metal, chocolate and fashion colors.

Suggested retail for the tights will be $16, and leggings will sell for $14.
