The Camuto Group, the New York-based master licensee for the Jessica Simpson brand, has signed a licensing agreement with Red Carter LLC to design, develop, manufacture and distribute a full line of swimwear under the Jessica Simpson label.
The new swimwear collection will launch at retail in December and will consist of swim separates and cover-ups in a variety of vintage-inspired and modern styles. Silhouettes include triangle tops, ruffle bandeaux and tie-side and scoop bottoms, in animal and floral-inspired prints and bright solids. The line will wholesale from $15.50 to $25 for separates and up to $58 for cover-ups. The collection is being targeted to major department and specialty stores nationwide. The company declined to give first-year volume projections.
