Tennis, anyone?

Lacoste has designed a retroactive tennis-inspired collection for women exclusively for Jeffrey New York.

Dubbed the Lacoste Red Collection for Jeffrey, the tennis set includes a long-sleeve piqué stitch cashmere cardigan for $395, a piqué pleated skirt for $125, a sleeveless tipped cotton piqué polo dress for $175 and the classic short-sleeve tipped piqué polo for $128.

The special tennis collection will be sold at Jeffrey New York and, beginning in October.

Last fall, Lacoste unveiled Red, a ready-to-wear and footwear collection for spring 2009 deliveries, aimed at a younger, fashion-driven customer.Wholesaling from about $40 to $80, the line targets 18- to 25-year-olds and was launched this spring in Lacoste’s own retail stores.

As far as exclusives with Jeffrey, a men’s Lacoste Red Collection launched in-store exclusively this spring and another men’s line will hit Jeffrey next month for fall.
