The Intimate Apparel Square Club, a New York-based charity that supports pediatric treatment and rehabilitation, will mark its 61st anniversary at this year’s HUG Gala, which will honor PVH Corp. and Target.The organization, which is relaunching as Project Help Us Give, will hold its gala on Nov. 3 at the 230 Fifth Penthouse in New York. This annual gala helps raise funds for Rusk Rehabilitation's pediatric programs and other children's services at the New York University Langone Medical Center.“This year marks a major milestone for the Intimate Apparel Square Club. It’s our 61st year of making better the lives of those who cannot help themselves and giving hope to those in need,” said IASC president Clelia Parisi. “We will use the occasion of our HUG Gala to give special thanks to our members, industry friends, past honorees and contributors for their continuing generosity.”Les Hall, president of core intimates at PVH, will accept on behalf of the company and Target will be a retail honoree.Last year the gala, which raised $250,000, honored J.C. Penney and Hanesbrand. To date, the IASC has raised $6 million for Rusk pediatric rehabilitation and Tisch Hospital programs.
