Just in time for the start of the 2017 baseball season, Tommy Bahama is expanding its association with Major League Baseball.The brand has opened new in-stadium retail shops at SunTrust Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, as well as Petco Park in San Diego, home of the Padres.The Braves shop, called the Club Collection, is located inside the Infiniti Club and features glass display windows to showcase the Tommy Bahama/Atlanta Braves co-branded product. The collection will also be featured in displays on the first-base line.In San Diego, a newly designed 300-square-foot space is located in the Lexus Home Plate Club and features that team’s co-branded merchandise. The apparel will also be available at the Padres Majestic Team Store, located inside the Western Metal Supply Co. building.Tommy Bahama introduced its first licensed MLB apparel in 2009 to celebrate the World Series and offered its first collection of team shirts the following season.This year, the collection offers an assortment of vintage-inspired styles such as a panel-back team camp shirt inspired by old baseball cards as well as a dugout crewneck, a tropical print camp shirt, palm print polos and Pima cotton team Ts.
