Is everything coming up roses for Mark Badgley and James Mischka? That appears to be the case in their pre-fall collection, which the designers are showing this week. Here, Badgley Mischka Platinum's hand-painted silk dress.
Femininity takes many different forms, as the latest pre-fall mix demonstrates. At Luca Luca, designer Luca Orlandi worked with clean lines, draping and folds, while Badgley Mischka's Mark Badgley and James Mischka showed a similar delicate sensibility in both their Platinum and Couture collections with soft prints and pretty embroideries. Diane von Furstenberg, on the other hand, went for the bold with tailored shapes and mixed patterns.
