In the very French couture collection he showed for spring, Christian Lacroix created splendid combinations of silks, laces and embroideries, many of them tied together by black ribbon. He also showed reinvented versions of his signature pouf, a style that had a strong presence elsewhere, too. Here, one of his ballooning beauties.
