Raphaëlla Riboud’s “private wear” collection, as she loves to call it, pays homage to Miami and Los Angeles for spring. Chic in spirit and naughty in the details, new line of cotton shirts and boxers includes oversized button-down shirts with revealing insets of Calais lace down the back; ditto for the sides of her mannish boxer shorts.
The Miami vibe came via mint green, coral and lemonade yellow used for her satin pajamas and shirtdresses, some done in her take on Hawaiian jungle print, piped in gold for that Hollywood touch. Hugh Hefner is the name she gave to a voluminous shawl-collar robe in printed silk Ottoman and lined with bubble gum pink satin.
Peter Kim's Los Angeles-based premium denim line has always had its finger on the pulse of youth. This season, novelty is back in a way reminiscent of early Aughts, with studs, lace-ups, racing waxed denim and more. "I was driving back on Saturday afternoon from the beach, and I just saw this sign saying 'Skydiving for $95.' And I was like, I can't not sky dive for $95," says Tom Bateman about a moment in Hawaii while shooting "Snatched." #wwdeye (📷: @vsteves; Interview by @ktauer; Styled by @thealexbadia)
