Brightly hued ink patterns were splashed across transparent plastic shapes in Bruno Frisoni’s latest limited edition Rendez-Vous collection for Roger Vivier, which the designer summed up as “the illusion of the past in the present.” The house’s signature comma heel played a central role, with an elevated 4.5-inch height expanding the range.
The heels of one pair of screen-printed see-through pumps were topped with a hot pink silk flower, while others, built of black tulle mesh, had hundreds of tiny gold metal tubes sewn on in an anarchic pattern. One pair of knee-high boots that combined dark silver metallic strips, transparent colored plastic and black satin legs was especially impactful.
