BRANCHING OUT: TapouT, a leader in the mixed martial arts apparel market, is expanding into accessories and elevating its children’s line. The $100 million, California-based company signed a licensing agreement with Kids Headquarters Inc. to develop its line of children’s activewear, sportswear, sleepwear, swimwear, outerwear and underwear. In addition, two of TapouT’s suppliers have formed a partnership to distribute men’s, women’s and children’s accessories for the brand. Aquarius Ltd. and Putnam Sourcing Group established the TapouT Accessory Group to make and market headwear, backpacks, gear bags, belts, wallets, jewelry, hosiery and timepieces under license.
