Topher Gaylord will exit his position as president of VF Corp.’s Seven For All Mankind to become president of Columbia Sportswear’s Mountain Hardwear subsidiary, a maker of high-performance mountaineering and outdoor apparel and gear. Gaylord also will oversee the company’s Montrail trail-running footwear business.

Gaylord, who succeeds Mountain Hardwear’s interim president Kirk Richardson, will report to Mick McCormick, executive vice president of global sales at Columbia Sportswear. Richardson will return to his prior position as Columbia Sportswear’s general manager of footwear merchandising.
