Jeanologia, the Valencia, Spain-based producer of eco-friendly finishing equipment and technology for denim and other textiles, is collaborating with China’s Prosperity Textiles to open a demonstration center in Guangzhou, China.
The facility, similar to one earlier planned for Dhaka, Bangladesh, will open on Thursday, the second day of a two-day seminar called “The Denim Innovation Forum 2013,” to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Guangzhou. Along with Jeanologia and Prosperity, participants in the event, which will include live demonstrations of Jeanologia’s equipment and software, are Invista, Clariant, Lenzing, Texhong, Stylesight, the Kingpins Show and Inside Fashion. Kingpins is produced by Olah Inc., which recently was designated the North American marketing and sales representative for Prosperity.
