Miraclebody Jeans, the denim shapewear label from the Miraclesuit swimwear company, is launching a contest to find the faces for its next advertising campaign.

The “Women Who Shape Our Lives” contest kicks off on Tuesday with a call for nominations for women who have had a significant impact in the lives of others. The contest will close May 20.

“There are so many amazing women out there who have inspiring stories to share,” said Sandra Davidoff, communications director of Miraclebody Jeans, which launched last year. “This campaign seems like a natural for us since our brand is about shaping the women who shape our lives.”

Women can nominate themselves or others through a Web site that will go live next week. The site also will serve as a home for the entries and any videos and photos.

The Miraclebody board will select 10 semifinalists to receive clothing from Miraclebody Jeans valued at $330. The top four selections will be flown to New York for a fashion consultation with stylist Robert Verdi and a makeover at the Sally Hershberger Downtown Salon.

The top selections also will take part in a photo shoot with photographer James Macari. Images from the session will be used for an advertisement that will appear in the August issue of People StyleWatch magazine.

Miraclebody Jeans were launched for fall 2009 and are sold at department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom. The line retails for between $68 and $148 and is constructed from a denim fabric that contains 4 percent stretch.
