MILAN — Replay has a new creative director, Gigi Vezzola, who will be in charge of the denim and sportswear brand, the more experimental line We Are Replay and kid’s wear line Replay & Sons, all under the Fashion Box Group umbrella, founded by the late Claudio Buziol.
Vezzola will supervise the global image of the brands, including their licenses.
A former creative director at Samsonite, Vezzola has been consulting for Pirelli’s PZero line and Costume National, after long stints at Krizia and Dolce & Gabbana. He also designs his own line, Mantù, produced by the Italian Castor.
In a statement, Vezzola said he considers Replay “one of the most important brands on the international scene, at a historical time when denim is an integral part of everybody’s wardrobe.”
