PARIS — Seafarer, the brand known for bell-bottoms with front pockets, is ready to relaunch with new backers in place and its historic flower-power flair intact.
Five partners — Andrea Benvegnù, Massimiliano Tabacchi, Alberto Raengo, Federico Barina and an angel investor — acquired the brand from Façonnable Group early this year. The purchase includes the international trademark rights and license for the U.S. from Polkton Manufacturing Co., a North Carolina-based company.
