Calvin Klein Inc. has signed a deal with American Designer Fashion SA for the distribution and retail store license to exclusively distribute the brand’s products for most of the Latin American region.
Under the terms of the agreement, the products to be distributed are Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein white label product categories and accessories in Latin America, excluding Brazil and Mexico, and several Caribbean countries. It also includes certain duty-free rights in Brazil and Mexico.
Calvin Klein is a subsidiary of PVH Corp. American Designer is an affiliated firm of American Sportswear SA, both a part of the ASW Group. American Sportswear is also the first international licensee for the Tommy Hilfiger brand and is its exclusive distributor in Latin America since 1986. The Hilfiger brand is also owned by PVH Corp.
There are more than 130 Tommy Hilfiger stores in the region, operating under different formats, including Tommy Hilfiger Denim and Tommy Hilfiger Kids. The latest agreement also has American Designer assuming the operations for 18 freestanding Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear stores in Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama and Peru.

Taking the final spot on the mens’ portion of New York Fashion Week calendar next month will be none other than @tomford. Though he’s shown his men’s wear in New York in the past, this will mark the first time the designer has shown his men’s collection alone during New York Fashion Week: Men’s. His runway show will debut on February 6 at the Park Avenue Armory. #wwdfashion

For her celebratory luncheon, @coach’s creative director @stuartvevers dressed her in a custom made prairie dress, complete with Vever’s take on the polka dot – black sequined versions – under a cropped motorcycle jacket. @nickjonas is unveiling his first-ever apparel collection through a partnership with John Varvatos.
