Citron, Piaggi Exit Gianfranco Ferré

In light of the exit of its design duo, the Italian company said it won’t show a fall-winter 2014 collection.

MILAN — Gianfranco Ferré creative directors Stefano Citron and Federico Piaggi have announced they are leaving the Milan-based company. The designers just delivered the label’s pre-fall 2014 collection, the last one they designed for Gianfranco Ferré.

Paris Group, which owns the Gianfranco Ferré brand, appointed the duo in November 2011 after parting ways with former creative directors Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi.

According to the company, Gianfranco Ferré won’t show a women’s fall-winter 2014 collection during the next Milan Fashion Week in February.
