Is Tom Ford Menswear about to plant its flag at Harrods? Industry sources say the brand will be sold exclusively for two years at the London store, starting in March 2008, in a shop-in-shop of 1,600 square feet or more. Harrods is expected to house the full Tom Ford Menswear ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear lines. Sources added that the shop would be located on the ground floor with direct access from the coveted Door 3 on Basil Street. The first Tom Ford flagship was unveiled in April on New York’s Madison Avenue. Initial plans included shops in Bergdorf Goodman Men and Neiman Marcus in the U.S., Daslu in Sao Paulo, and multiple upscale retailers in Hong Kong and Tokyo. A stand-alone Tom Ford London flagship was scheduled for 2009.
