GAULTIER IN CHILDREN’S WEAR DEAL: Jean Paul Gaultier, the enfant terrible of French fashion, has signed a license agreement for children’s wear with France’s Zannier Group.
The first collection, consisting of about 120 pieces for girls and boys ages two to 14, is to be unveiled to the trade in January for fall 2009. The name of the collection, and other details, have yet to be disclosed. Zannier, founded in 1962, produces and distributes kids’ wear under about 20 brands, including Little Marc Jacobs, Levi’s, Kenzo and Oxbow.
Meanwhile, Gaultier is among fashion folk winging their way to Dubai for Thursday’s blockbuster opening party for Atlantis, The Palm. Gaultier will be there to support his friend Kylie Minogue, who will be performing for some 2,000 VIP guests, with organizers promising a fireworks display that will light up 27 miles of palmshaped shoreline

She had two young children, she was married and she was expecting that she would have her own life for a good 25 years,” said Claire Foy about playing a young Queen Elizabeth in Netflix’s The Crown.
