Italian luxury brand Isaia said it is planning to open 30 new monobrand stores in China over the next 10 years.

“We are particularly proud of this project, as at the moment China is definitely representing a dream of every businessman,” said Gianluca Isaia, vice president of the label, which is known for its Neapolitan tailoring. “It is the only market that in the last years [has] continued its constant growth.”

Isaia said the first of the stores, in Shanghai and Beijing, will open by September 2011. Currently, Isaia has no distribution in China.

The company said the rollout is part of a broader plan to cover the world’s biggest luxury markets through directly operated distribution.

Isaia has its flagship in Milan, three stores in Russia and one in Kiev, Ukraine, as well as shop-in-shops in major international department stores.
