NEW YORK — Marios Schwab is out at Halston—and it looks like the brand’s designer-level collection business got the ax with him. Schwab’s contract, which expired, will not be renewed, WWD has learned. According to sources, Halston will not produce a collection for spring 2012, and it remains unclear whether the fall 2011 collection will be delivered to stores. Halston is expected to focus on its secondary Halston Heritage line instead.
