MILAN — Trussardi has revealed that effective Friday, Milan Vukmirovic is no longer creative director of the Italian fashion brand.
When Vukmirovic joined the company in 2007, he was tasked with relaunching the Trussardi 1911 collection as well as unifying the label’s multiple product categories into a lifestyle brand. In the last few years, Vukmirovic, formerly of Gucci and Jil Sander, among others, introduced Trussardi’s first furniture collection and collaborated on the revamp of the Piazza della Scala concept store. Before his arrival, the creative duties were handled by a design team and for a brief period, president and chief executive officer Beatrice Trussardi’s younger sister, Gaia.
