Seventies-era disco darling Stephen Burrows is giving it another shot. In an effort to reignite his ready-to-wear business, the designer brought a dose of old Seventh Avenue glamour to his New York fashion show. He showed in an empty space on West 38th Street and enlisted the help of legendary model-agent Bethann Hardison, who cast the show and gave the girls, including Anna Cleveland (daughter of Seventies icon Pat Cleveland), some pointers. Pat Cleveland was seated front and center in the crowd that included André Leon Talley, Tyson Beckford and model Alva Chinn, who with Cleveland modeled in the famous 1973 Versailles megashow, in which Burrows participated.
“I was touched by the fact that she lost her father, really before his time, and it was a real shock. She had two young children, she was married and she was expecting that she would have her own life for a good 25 years,” said Claire Foy about playing a young Queen Elizabeth in Netflix’s The Crown. “It transcends the genre that is you think of a sci-fi show — you don’t expect it to be so profound or emotionally riveting,” Evan Rachel Wood told WWD of her Emmy nominated role in Westworld. styled by @samanthamcmillen_stylist 📸 @emmanmontalvan #emmys2017 #wwdeye
