There were a lot of big numbers flying around Gucci this season: 90, 500, 150. As part of its 90th birthday bash, the storied luxury house partnered with Italian auto giant Fiat to unveil its first Fiat 500 by Gucci the evening of its runway show. Sporting classic Gucci motifs, the car retails at around $19,000. Creative director Frida Giannini invited the band I Blame Coco, fronted by Sting’s daughter Coco Sumner, to play at the party. “Italians do it better,” she shouted as she bounded off the stage arm in arm with Fiat heir Lapo Elkann, who chimed in, “What’s better than to join two Italian icons on the occasion of Italy’s 150th anniversary?”
