The paisley print is a Jean Paul Gaultier signature — and very popular with retailers. For pre-fall, the designer has updated the motif by adding swirls for a patchwork effect. Angela Missoni played with Swinging London minis in her Missoni line, while at Moschino Cheap & Chic, Rossella Jardini's styles reflected the Eighties. Elsewhere, Jean Paul Gaultier and J.Mendel's Gilles Mendel, with their fluid dresses, echoed the Forties.
